anti wrinkle treatment

Smoothing out laughter lines and wrinkles has never been faster or easier with anti-ageing treatments, giving you an instant boost and renewed confidence in your appearance.

Keeping your face smooth and supple is not an easy feat. As we grow older our skin begins to loose elasticity and wrinkles start to form.  The sun and our daily lifestyles can also do damage to our skin.

Anti-ageing treatments are a quick and convenient way to smooth out those lines on the forehead and around the eyes and mouth without any need for surgery.

We use the best antiwrinkle products and techniques, performed by highly qualified aesthetic practitioners in a clinical, safe and hygienic setting.

Frequently asked questions

Where can Anti Wrinkle treatments be used?

The facial areas we treat are the forehead, around the eyes and bunny lines on the nose.  They are also great for a gummy smile as they help relax the muscles to make the smile more attractive.

Anti-Wrinkle treatments can also be used in the armpit area to help stop sweating.

Will it hurt?

Having anti-wrinkle treatment is not painful at all.

Will you be able to numb the area?

Yes. We will use an anaesthetic cream to numb the area before we start the treatment, which itself is very comfortable and quick.

What will the area look like afterwards?

You may have some dot swelling after your treatment, or very rarely you might get tiny little bruises or temporary redness. These will subside quickly.

  • Do not shave in the area you will be treated. Do not wax or have any laser or facial treatments.
  • Avoid products like retinol, glycolic acid and AHA on the area for at least 1 week prior to your treatment

After treatment, slight redness, swelling, itching and some tenderness at the site of the injections may occur. This is normal and will generally disappear over the next 24-48 hours. When the lips have been treated, the swelling can last for up to 1 week, and the lips may appear uneven during this time. Please follow massage techniques shown each day to balance any areas that appear uneven.

  • Massage the area with a moisturiser to reduce any areas that appear lumpy.
  • Avoid creams with Alpha Hydroxy Acid or Glycolic acid around the area.
  • If you suffer cold sores, there is always a risk that injections around the lips may cause a flare. Use a topical cold sore cream if signs appear.
  • Patients taking aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin and other blood thinning medications should be aware that there will be increased likelihood of bleeding or bruising at injection sites.
  • If itching or swellings occur, a general over the counter antihistamine can be taken for a period of one week.
  • Arnica cream/capsules can be taken to help prevent bruising.
