vampire facial

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is known as a Vampire Facial because it uses the patient’s own blood. Platelets found in plasma are removed from a sample of the patient’s blood, then injected into areas of the face to promote healing.

Platelets are cells found in the bloodstream that allow blood to clot. When a clot is formed, platelets emit enzymes that boost healing and aid in tissue regeneration by drawing stem cells to the area to help repair damage. We withdraw a sample of the client’s blood and take the PRP from it. This is injected back into the skin tissue using a fine needle, encouraging the production of collagen and new skin cells, which allow skin to heal and renew, creating younger, firmer, softer and more supple skin. We will also use the platelet serum to skin needle the facial skin.

The therapist will use the Micro needling device, alosng with sterile single use micro needling cartridges for a microneedling treatment, then apply the platelet-rich plasma to the treatment area.

The downtime for vampire facials varies from person to person, but patients typically notice a significant improvement after the first two or three days. Most patients will have fully healed after one week.

Is PRP better than Anti wrinkle treatment?

Its not necessarily either/or with anti-wrinkle treatment and PRP. Both treatments focus on different things: Botox relaxes facial muscles to smooth out wrinkles, while PRP uses a preparation of your own blood to stimulate growth of new, healthy skin cells in the face.

Is PRP good for under eye wrinkles?

While PRP has been applied for several medical purposes in the past, it has recently emerged as a proven and effective therapy to reverse the signs of facial aging, including wrinkles, soggy facial skin, and eye bags. PRP facial anti-aging therapy is safe for patients with almost any skin type.
